TABOO: Forever Forbidden Chapter 1

Taboo: forever forbidden


It was a dark and snowy night. My screams could not reach anyone. I was outside scared and cold. I fall to my knees, hands close to my heart, mittens collecting snowflakes from the sky.

"Kotari, Kotari, where are you?" a voice screams to me.

The strong winds blow my hair sideways. My eyes filled with horror. A dark figure standing at least eight meters away from me, it looks at me quietly. It advances towards me, swaying in the wind with the snow. A flash of light hits the figure; I can see what it was. Pure red eyes staring at me insensibly, waiting for a time to strike. The man's teeth like razor sharp wolf fangs, protruding out of his mouth.

"Fresh meat…It's a delicacy..." the man growls happily.

"Help," I scream, as loud as I can.

The man in front of me gets kicked in the face harshly. He falls to the ground hard, into the snow.  Another tall man shows himself from the shadow, his long black hair flowing in the wind behind him, an angel from the heavens. My eyes widen in awe, and I quietly stand. He puts his hand out to me, his voice, and familiar.

"Kotari, I'm so glad you're ok, my little sister." He says to me, calmly.

"Brother," my voice squeaks, "You saved me, brother! Thank you."

The man that wanted my blood stands and comes sprinting towards us, faster than anything I have ever seen.

"Brother, save me! This man wants my blood!" I scream.

"Taboo blood... Forbidden! Must die, Forbidden!" The man yells repeatedly.

My brother puts his hand out towards the man, fingers splayed. A large scythe made of silver shows up in his hands. He swings it gracefully behind the both of us. It crackles with blue flames around the tip. The aura from his hand wraps around the scythe like a ribbon.

"Stop... shadow of darkness..." my brother says calmly, but as an order.

The man stops, and kneels to my brother, "I am sorry my king... I see the taboo is in your hands."

"What does he mean by king brother?" I ask quietly.

My brother does not answer me. I look at his face, his expression cold and quiet.  His eyes dark with a bloody red hue, just the same as the man in front of the both of us.  Seconds later, a sharp shooting pain hits my neck.

"Owe, brother what are you doing?" I ask him quietly.  

He pulls back from biting my neck, "I have to use some of your blood, sister, to keep us both alive."

The scythe that my brother was holding turns an icy black.  His eyes turn crimson red, and I start feeling weak, like someone is draining the life out of me. My body gets engulfed in an ice blue aura, and I float out of my brothers hands.

"B-Brother help me, what is happening to me brother?"

"Kotari, no, don't take her! She is my sister! Give her back to me!" my brother screams.

Someone help me please!
